For those of us who have been wondering whether we should purchase a domain for each of our products, this pretty much provides the answer. $10 more or less is a small price to pay for the possibility of free traffic from Google by getting on their first page for your keywords.

/Great blog, Randy.

It is the fastest and easiest way to get indexed. I never submit a site directly to Google, MSN or Yahoo! anymore and I haven't in years.

But it isn't necessary to have a link from an already indexed site to get indexed.

For those of you looking to get indexed Wizzer had a great post a while back on the Scribd technique he mentioned above. I highly recommend you read it.

Thanks for sharing this info. I've found it is possible to get to page 1 in less than 24 hours using these strategies. I've also used a Scribd doc and leveraged their indexing. Is it necessary to have a site that's already listed linking to the new site to get indexed by Google?
