Hi Randy. The Wife used to call me one of those years ago too - but now a cuppa tea and a bit of gardening are just as good!

Great story, Randy.
I got a few chuckles from it. I hadn't thought about the connotations until reading it. Now when ever I get an email from you I'm going to think of it and laugh again.
Aloha,

I am surprised you did not become Randolph for a time. Pip, Pip, Randolph!

I do not know what you would do about the last name.

What a shame you're over the pond Randy,

We could have a heck of a laugh on a night out together over here.... LOL

It's great to finally have someone who can totally relate to us having the best name in the world for a young guy out on the pull.... hehe

I've had such similar experiences all my life!
(not that I'm complaining - it is a great icebreaker!!)

Shout me if ever you come over for a visit, and we can be a couple of 'Randy Guys' out on the town (After I've got permission from my Mrs...lol)

As Antihype commented - I too used to have to carry ID as so many girls used to stare in disbelief .....

With the next line usually being "Well Are You Then?" ... hehe

I suppose I should be grateful for being a smith though .... I assume I must have had less than half what you got in terms of giggles....

Oh, thanks for taking a look at 7 Key Elements - I'm sure you'll love it.
(I'll have to start swapping links so you can keep buying my products...LOL)

Great sorry Randy. Being a Brit I can vouch for the way your name would have been received. I can assure you that 99% of all guys in the UK would have loved to use that line with the ID support.

I reckon there'll be guys applying for false ID as we speak so they can give it a try.
