Who Am I?

I am Randy Baustert, better known as Randy The Hermit.

I live in the Caribbean and I have been down here for almost 20 years.

I have been called The Hermit since 1992 when I was doing property management on a little island in the US Virgin Islands. Because I was working and living on a little island with a population of about 50 I hardly ever left the island. The people that I rented to soon started to call me The Hermit.

The name stuck so well that I actually received mail addressed:

The Hermit
St. Thomas, VI

That was all it said no address, no zip code just that and it made it to me. Since then I have been called The Hermit by numerous people quite a few that don’t actually know my real name.

Being a Hermit has allowed me to devote a lot of time to my computer in my cave and I have been building websites, installing scripts and doing search engine optimization for private clients since 1994.

Now it is time to blow my own horn.

I am the highest rated Search Engine Optimization expert (at the time of this writing) according to ExpertRating.com. If you go to their top scores page and scroll down to the Search Engine Optimization section you will find my name there. Below is part of a screen capture of their top scores page.

Of course some one could have beaten my score by the time you read this.

I gave up taking individual clients in mid 2006 and focused on internet marketing.

I studied under Michael Cheney, Mike Filsaime, Mark Hendricks, Willie Crawford, Sterling Valentine, Micheal Fortin and a few more to get to the roots of how to make money online.

Since then I have launched a number of sites, you can see them listed under My Sites to the right, with my first major site being Marketing Beginners in November of 2006 and that site still gets new members every day.

I actually enjoy helping people and passing along what I have learned from my mentors (listed above) and from my own personal experiences. In this site I will try to pass along this knowledge so that you can benefit from it without paying the $1,000’s I did for coaching.
